Parasite

Do you now what kind of a plan never fails? No plan at all. You know why? If you make a plan, Life never works out that way. That's why people shouldn't make any plans. With no plan, nothing can go wrong. And if something spins out of control, it doesn't matter. Summary: The story of "Parasite" revolves around similar lines as the quote from the same movie given above. At the beginning we are introduces to a young boy named Ki-woo of the Kims. We are enlightened by his lifestyle, of his house, of his family. Of his father, Ki-taek, currently unemployed, his mother, Chung-sook, taking up small jobs from struggling businesses, and his sister, Ki-jung, who can no longer continue her studies because her family cannot afford it. Then, one day, his friend, Min, comes over and offers Ki-woo a job. Min was tutoring the daughter of a wealthy family, the Parks, and he wanted Ki-woo to take over his place, as he was going abroad to study. This is when Ki-woo makes a pl...

March comes in like a Lion!

Picture yourself as a boy standing in a room full of lamps, yet none of the bulbs is turned on. The boy’s eyes reflect nothing but darkness no matter where he faces on the room. Then, one lamp turns on, then another, and then yet another lamp tries to repel the darkness with its light and the boy’s eyes start to shine. That room is Life , and that boy is You . A slice of this life is represented in “March comes in like a Lion!”. Summary: “March comes in like a Lion!” is an anime adaptation from studio shaft of a manga of the same name. The plot of the story revolves around a high school student and a professional shogi player named Rei Kiriyama, who had just moved into his own apartment after spending 10 years with his foster family. After losing his family and spending 10 years with another where he never felt like he belonged, Kiriyama has developed an estranged mindset towards life. He appears to be a loner, someone who would deliberately try to distance himself from socie...

Kekkai Sensen

Also known as "Blood Blockade Battlefront", is an anime adaptation of a manga series of the same name from the studio Bones. Now without any further explainations, lets get right to it. PLOT CONTEXT About 3 years ago a giant gate opened up in the middle of what we call New York City through a phenomenon simply called the Great Collapse. Now this gate connected this world to the Alterworld. The Alterworld being a dimension full of monsters. Now I know that sounds a little clichèd but the best part is that after alot of fighting with the monsters, humans finally came to terms with them. Hence, we get Hellsalem's Lot, which is basically a city of monsters but humans can also visit if they like. SETTING One of the notable things about this plot is that the setting has taken place in New York or Hellsalen's Lot and not in Japan. Unlike a couple of other anime the we all may know of....but if you don't know of any i'm pointing towards Code Gease...

Birth: A Miracle

As most of you may not know, but before I came into the mathematical field, I was once a student of biology as well. Now some of you may know, that most mathematicians, at the end of their age, do resort to relegion because they believe that the numbers are the closest to truth where this particular truth designates towards religion. But not only mathematics but biology also provides us with a few facts which make us wonder, Is there actually a higher calling? Were we sent here on this Earth with a proper plan? A purpose? From someone who has been at both sides of the argument let me tell you this: If you're looking for a sign from God If you're looking for a miracle Then look no further STOP And look at yourself You are God's miracle You yourself are your own answer Want me to explain? Then pay attention: Out of the 8 billion people on the planet, just ONE man and ONE woman chose one another for themselves Out of the 400,000 follicles in the femal...

Tonight, a girl came into my apartment and started crying.....

Hello, My name is Mark Winters and I'm about to share a very disturbing tale with you guys. I was working overtime at the office that night. There was hardly anything out of the ordinary, except that it was raining quite heavily outside. I was quickly wrapping up my work and getting ready to leave, when I suddenly realized that I had forgotten my umbrella. I asked one of my co-workers if they had a spare. Jannet was the only one other than me who was still at wor k. She lend me her own and said that she would find herself a spare from the o ld store at the back. Tired from work, I was already in a hurry to get back to my s weet apartment and get a good night's rest, so I took her umbrella without a secon d thought and went into the rain . It w as p ouring cats and dogs. I somehow managed to get a cab and made my way to my apartment. The buildin g in which I lived was located i n a pretty bizarre place. It was far away from the city and there was nothing of any impo...

The ET!

Now, to be honest, by ET I don't mean any extra terrestrial issue. No. Im referring to a far more drastic issue.... The ENTRY TEST! But wait. Why the sudden hatred for the entry test? Isn't it placed for the deserving students to enter a specific university? Well, yes, the whole purpose for an entry test is so that only the students that have actually worked their asses off to get into this university get to take up a vacancy. But the only thing that bothers me is that the students that don't get an admission into their favourite college/university never actually give up. Now, don't get me wrong, 100 points for determination, but if you can't get into a specific university then that just means that you weren't meant to go there. I mean, has it ever occurred to these people that they can't get into this university because they themselves don't wanna.  Lets take on a hypothetical situation. Concider that your a student who was mean...
