Now, to be honest, by ET I don't mean any extra terrestrial issue. No.
Im referring to a far more drastic issue....
But wait. Why the sudden hatred for the entry test?
Isn't it placed for the deserving students to enter a specific university?
Well, yes, the whole purpose for an entry test is so that only the students that have actually worked their asses off to get into this university get to take up a vacancy. But the only thing that bothers me is that the students that don't get an admission into their favourite college/university never actually give up.
Now, don't get me wrong, 100 points for determination, but if you can't get into a specific university then that just means that you weren't meant to go there.
I mean, has it ever occurred to these people that they can't get into this university because they themselves don't wanna.
Lets take on a hypothetical situation.
Concider that your a student who was meant for arts. But for some reason, whatsoeve, you have taken on science as your major in school. Now, somehow, you've made it so far as to graduate from highschool and now you have to start preparing for college, and here comes our trustworthy ENTRY TEST. Now this test is going to judge whether you were meant for science or not. And guess what? You ain't gonna pass this test.
Now answer me this, why bother try again? It's clear that you were never meant to go into science, that your passion is arts, then why bother try again?
You should stop right there and then, and you should think about your current situation. You should contemplate that why exactly did you fail?
Maybe you didn't work so hard? And why do you think that is? What is it that you don't have, and what others do to help them work harder? To help them pass the test?
Its PASSION!
Its the love for their work, which they possess and you do not, because you were never meant to study science.
Because you were meant to do what you love to do.
MORAL:
So, next time, don't try to beat the entry test.
Try to accept it!
